Admin office & Finance (Yayasan Tirta Lestari)

Job Summary:

Yayasan Tirta Lestari is a non-profit organization that works with disadvantaged Indonesian communities to improve water & sanitation conditions through educational activities and participatory projects. Our organization is comprised of the following four programs:

  • Public Health Promotion Program
  • Clean Water Program
  • Improved Sanitation Program
  • Solid Waste Management Program

Job Description:

Start date: as soon as possible

Duration: full-time, after successful completion of 6-month probation period

Base location: Jakarta Selatan (Cilandak)

Report to: Program Coordinator

Work hours: 8:00 – 16:30, Monday – Friday (40 hours a week)


  • Up to Rp. 10,000,000 health care expenses covered

Skill Requirements

  • Minimum S1 Diploma, accounting, economic
  • Proficient in speaking and writing English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in office administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and work collaboratively in a small team
  • Reliable with strong integrity and initiative
  • Good communicator
  • Sensitive and respectful of social and cultural diversities


This job entails a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the ability to undertake:

  1. Financial
  • Manage petty cash; pay invoices and receive receipts, efficiently enter transactions into our accounting system
  • Prepare monthly budgets and specific project budgets
  • Regularly monitor and document income and expenditure; deliver summary to team at weekly meetings
  • Make timely salary and tax payment transfers monthly
  • Liaise with auditor and ensure proper financial reporting is upheld
  • Arrange and execute logistics and payments with suppliers
  1. Secretarial
  • Manage the production of monthly newsletters, website updates, and other communication materials
  • Assist Manager to prepare reports
  • Translate documents in English- Indonesian
  • Note decisions and actions arising from team meetings and events
  • Answer phone and send faxes
  • Assist in planning and preparing major events with our communities
  • Oversee volunteers
  1. Office
  • Maintain office supply and equipment inventory
  • Update and maintain both paper and electronic filing system
  • Ensure office is organized, functional, hygienic and tidy
  • Organize efficient and timely repairs and updates for technologies and other office resources; inclusive of ensuring data back-ups
